09:39 pm - LJ fail relief. A bit of entertainment... Since it appears LJ is down for some folks, I thought I would share this here. Damn, but I do neglect this journal, don't I? Oh, Tom! The latest video of a Q&A session in Japan is just adorable. And I had to laugh at this answer: "It's always between the invisibility cloak and the broomstick. I say the combination of the two would be endlessly fun." I'd say seeing what you would do with the combination of the two would be endlessly fun, Tom. Hehee... do they try to give us these things on a silver platter, or is it just a fluke? Okay, now on to the fun stuff! Draco!muse is off shagging Harry somewhere, and since the writing was going nowhere without him, I entertained myself by surfing online. You peeps who've been on my flist for very long likely know what that means. *G* Just assume none of these are even remotely safe for work! First up... This is one of my favorite clichés. Harry and Draco are flatmates, and Harry has finally figured out a sure-fire way of getting Draco's attention. "Draco? Which tie do you think works best with this outfit?" ( Gotta love Slytherin!Harry ) This next one is for you epilogue compliant folks out there... Do you think this was what Harry was fantasizing about when he was waiting for Ginny to walk down the isle? ( My version of Harry's wedding day ) And yes, I saved the best for last! I'm sure you all remember the lovely heathen_arcade's awesome Christmas Orange Crush, right? *dies laughing* Well, I saw this and immediately thought of an AS/S sequel. *facepalm* I am so going to hell in a fruit basket for this! 07:22 pm - Last hd_hols art recs! I made my guesses over at the hd_holidays guessing poll. I only guessed on art, because I'm hopeless at guessing fic. There are a few pieces that I KNOW I'm going to absolutely kick myself over once the artists are revealed. There were about 5 that I just couldn't decide on. A couple I had a good idea, but I didn't guess unless I was at least 95% sure. We'll see how well I did. :-D On to the recs! Christmas Orange Curse (PG) OMG! 06:57 pm - Fic rec! Isn't it just like me to not read anything (other than the WIP's that I'm following) in what seems like forever and the first thing I read turns out to be a 54k monstrosity? Go figure. I don't normally rec things because most of what I read you guys have already read or are already reading, but I think this one will get passed over if someone doesn't give you guys a nudge. I know I certainly would have skipped it had I not had a reason for reading it. You may have already seen it posted over at hp_yule_balls and looked at the word count or the warnings and thought, "Hell NO!" Well... I say, pour yourself a glass of wine and settle in for a long night of reading! My Old Ways - rated NC-17 - is ... I don't even know where to start! Okay, lets start with the warnings... ( Cut for possible spoilers and long-windedness ) Harry was so adorably Harry (it's first person from Harry's POV and his voice is just so amazingly dead on IMHO!) and Ron was unbelievably perfect. Oh, and Draco? Bloody hell. You know there are very few versions of Draco that I don't love, but this one is one I've never encountered and I think I fell in love all over again. *G* Oh, and the sex was hot as hell! The writing was well done, although there are a few unfortunate typo's, but not so many that it disrupted the flow of the story. And needless to say, an appropriate Alaana-approved ending, but not sappy by any stretch of the imagination. *G* So just go give it a go. I don't think you'll regret it. I know I didn't. :-D

Here are a few... well, more than a few. *blushes* Only Friends? - Such a classic H/D theme and done so very well! *melts* Harry and Malfoy, Ministry's Yule Gala, 2008 - OMG! I can't say enough about this one. You just have to see it. :-) A Turkey and Some Mistletoe - We all know who did this, how could be not? It's awesome, as always! *adores* All I Need Is Your Cooperation - GUH! *is ded* [NC-17, warnings] Midnight - Sweet and hot at the same time. Oh, my. *G* [NC-17, Mpreg] Fashion Fail - LOL! This is so cute and funny! Just what you need to make you smile. *g* Turn - This one's a bit angsty, but I can imagine it leading to something ... hopefully something happy. *wibbles* Unavoidably Detained - This is just so amazingly beautiful! 08:30 am - Waiting This was inspired by an answer lillithium gave in her 100 Questions on Harry Potter Pairing meme. All of her answers are amazingly thought provoking and the artwork accompanying them is wonderful, as always. Question 33 was "At at the meeting place, who usually waits for whom?" and she answered Draco usually waits for Harry. Then, it was #34 that just got me... "Why is s/he always late?" It's not Harry being late, it's Draco being early. Draco likes the way Harry smiles when he finds him among the crowd. That just says so much about Harry and Draco's relationship. Enjoy!
